Each watch is a unique piece sold as a single item. Its condition, included accessories and any work actually performed are described on its product page. An unworn vintage watch may be a second-hand item; \u201cunworn\u201d does not mean it has been serviced. The commercial warranties in sections 7.1 and 7.2 also apply to services and battery replacements entrusted to the workshop.<\/p> Prices are in euros and show the total amount payable by the consumer, excluding delivery charges, which are displayed separately before payment. The seller operates as a micro-enterprise benefiting from the VAT exemption: VAT not applicable under Articles L. 223 et seq. of the French Code of Taxes on Goods and Services<\/strong>. No VAT is charged or recoverable.<\/p> Payment is made online using the methods offered at checkout, including cards via WooPayments. The watch is reserved for the buyer once payment succeeds. If orders are placed at the same time, only the first successful payment secures the sale.<\/p> For an in-stock watch, preparation before dispatch takes up to 2 working days after payment confirmation. Orders are delivered within metropolitan France, including Corsica, and to the other European Union countries offered at checkout. Overseas territories and destinations outside the EU (including the United Kingdom, Switzerland and Norway) are not available through online checkout. Delivery charges are displayed separately before payment, according to the destination and the product\u2019s shipping category. For the Swatch Earth Summit \u201992 currently on sale, delivery is \u20ac13.49 within metropolitan France and \u20ac17.99 to other EU countries. Collection in Versailles by appointment is free. The expected total delivery period after payment confirmation, including preparation, is 2\u20135 working days within metropolitan France and 4\u201310 working days to other EU countries. Shipments are tracked, delivered against signature and covered according to the declared value within the carrier\u2019s available limits. No order should be accepted where suitable cover for its value cannot be arranged. Tracking is provided after dispatch. Atelier Craig remains responsible for delivery until the buyer or their nominated third party (other than the carrier) physically receives the goods, except where the buyer independently appoints a carrier. Contact the workshop in the event of loss, damage or delay; carrier compensation does not limit your rights against the seller. If the delivery period is missed, you may request delivery in writing within an additional reasonable period, then cancel if delivery still does not occur. Immediate cancellation is possible in the circumstances provided by law. Refunds are made within 14 days of cancellation. You may choose collection at checkout, by appointment in Versailles. The private workshop is not an open retail shop; the exact appointment address is provided directly.<\/p> Under Articles L. 221-18 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, consumer buyers have 14 days from receipt to withdraw without giving a reason. This also applies to vintage watches, unworn second-hand watches and online orders collected at the workshop. Notify your decision by email to nicolas@ateliercraig.com or by post to the seller\u2019s address, then return the goods within 14 days of that notification. Direct return costs for a change of mind are payable by you. The refund includes the price paid and the initial standard delivery charge. It is made using the same payment method within 14 days of your notification, but may be withheld until the goods or evidence of their dispatch are received, whichever occurs first. See the returns policy and withdrawal form<\/a>.<\/p> Second-hand watches sold by Atelier Craig to consumers benefit from the two-year statutory guarantee of conformity from delivery<\/strong> (Articles L. 217-3 et seq. of the French Consumer Code). For second-hand goods, a lack of conformity appearing within the first 12 months is presumed to have existed at delivery unless proved otherwise. The statutory warranty against hidden defects also applies under Articles 1641 et seq. of the French Civil Code. The commercial warranties below do not limit these legal rights.<\/p> Each vintage watch is described according to its condition and the checks performed. Its characteristics, known faults and any operating limitations are stated on the product page. Modern chronometer accuracy or water resistance is promised only when expressly stated. A watch offered without a service does not automatically carry a commercial servicing warranty; its statutory guarantees remain applicable. Describing a limitation does not remove the buyer\u2019s legal rights. To claim under a statutory guarantee, contact the seller using the details in section 1 with proof of purchase and a description of the defect. Repair or replacement is provided without charge, within 30 days and without significant inconvenience, as required by law. If conformity cannot be restored, is refused, delayed or unsuccessful, or the defect is sufficiently serious, a price reduction or cancellation of the sale may be requested. A repair under the statutory guarantee extends it by six months. Where the seller imposes replacement instead of the repair requested, a new two-year period begins. The warranty against hidden defects may be exercised within two years of discovering the defect, by returning the goods for a refund or keeping them with a price reduction.<\/p> <\/div>\n Atelier Craig offers a 12-month commercial warranty<\/strong> from return of the watch for defects directly attributable to the work performed or replacement parts supplied as part of the service or repair. If a covered defect occurs, contact the workshop with the invoice and a description of the problem so the watch can be examined and the defect remedied without charge. This warranty does not cover failures unrelated to the work, normal wear, impacts or drops, magnetism, misuse, or water damage where water resistance was not expressly restored and tested. Subsequent work by another repairer excludes cover only to the extent that it caused the defect claimed. Any limitations relating to aged components or unavailable parts are recorded in the quotation or service report. This commercial warranty does not remove the workshop\u2019s legal liability.<\/p> Battery replacement carries a six-month commercial warranty<\/strong> from return of the watch, covering the battery supplied and defects directly attributable to the replacement work. It does not guarantee the entire quartz movement or a minimum battery life where abnormal power consumption or another movement fault is found. If the watch stops, the workshop will check the battery and its work before determining the cause. Water resistance after a battery change is guaranteed only if an appropriate sealing service and water-resistance test were performed and documented.
