I disassembled the calibre 552 completely, mainspring barrel included, cleaned everything, replaced the mainspring and the balance staff, then reassembled and oiled it. Regulated in five positions, it now keeps within \u00b18 seconds a day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The case was repolished by hand, keeping the original edges. The dial has not been touched: its patina is sixty years old, and I leave it alone. New acrylic crystal, new gaskets, new leather strap.
