A 1972 Club Automatic, calibre AS 1916. This was the everyday Jaeger-LeCoultre of its time: robust and accurate. I completely disassembled and cleaned the movement, rebushed the oscillating weight and replaced the reverser. On the timegrapher: ±10 seconds a day on the wrist.
Original anthracite dial, applied indices intact. I did not repolish the case: it is gold-plated, and polishing would cut through the plating. It has therefore been cleaned and preserved as it is. New crystal, original crown, new leather strap.
