When buying remotely, you have fourteen days to change your mind. Here is how it works.
The period
14 calendar days from receipt of the watch, in accordance with the French Consumer Code. Simply notify the workshop by email (nicolas@ateliercraig.com) within that period. You may use the form below or any clear statement of your decision. This right also applies to vintage watches, unworn second-hand goods and online orders collected at the workshop.
The return
After notifying us of your withdrawal, return the watch within 14 days. We will provide the return address directly; it is not published on the website. Direct return costs for a change of mind are payable by you. We recommend tracked shipping with signature and cover suitable for the watch’s value and nature; retain proof of dispatch. This recommendation is not a condition of your withdrawal right. Include the supplied box and accessories. You may examine the watch as you would in a shop; a deduction for diminished value may apply if it has been handled beyond what is necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and functioning.
The refund
We refund the price paid and the original standard delivery charge (but not any extra cost for a more expensive delivery option you chose), using the same payment method unless otherwise agreed, without a fee. We issue the refund within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal notice. We may delay it until we receive the watch or proof that you have sent it back, whichever is earlier (Article L. 221-24 of the French Consumer Code).
A doubt before buying?
Each product page includes an “Ask a question about this watch” link. Additional photographs, wrist size, measured accuracy: all questions are welcome before purchase. The watch can also be tried on at the workshop by appointment.
Defective or non-conforming goods
A return under a statutory guarantee is separate from a change-of-mind return. Contact nicolas@ateliercraig.com with your order number and a description of the problem. The seller bears the costs necessary to restore conformity, including return shipping agreed with the workshop. Your statutory guarantees also apply to a watch sold without a service.
